This month, the Pre-SS and Sapphires kids had the yummiest and funnest time ever!!!
The baby class made our very own rice ball with yummy seasonings mixed in. With a help from teachers, they did a great job making their own rice balls.
Bigger kids in Sapphires made their own pizza from scratch!!
Yummy smell was spreading all over our school, kids could not wait until they go home and eat with their family members!
For our final week, the kinders will be making pizza and fruit juice. For the pizza, the kids kneaded dough, cut up the ingredients and also took part in ESL conversations answering what they wanted on their pizza.
For fruit juice, they’ll be cutting oranges and bananas into small pieces, then we’ll throw them into the mixer and watch as it turns into juice.
We’ve started accepting new students for our pre-kindergarten class and kindergarten class for the school year of 2017. We have all kinds of activities ready with themes ranging from rhythmic to games involving intellectual training, all in English of course
We will have trial lessons for 5400 yen on the following dates:
2016 November 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 (5 days). Please do come check us out!
This class is specifically aimed at children from ages 1 ( who have learnt how to walk) to 5,
the trial lessons are for that one whole week from 10:00 to 11:30, and the price is 5400 yen for all days combined.
Details of the classes are as shown here. We look forward to hearing from you.
In Brilliant Crystals Class, the topic of this month is “Foods”.
For conversation, the students have been practicing saying what they want on their pizzas. Today, they actually made a pizza, kneaded the dough, cut vegetables and put them on their pizzas. All of them enjoyed cooking!! Good job everyone!
This month the Elementary kids will be covering a rather curious theme -mythological creatures. Although kids in Japan get plenty of exposure to them in comic books, anime or games, it isn’t every day they receive an in depth explanation of iconic mythological creatures and what they’re said to be capable of. We thought this would prove to be an interesting experience for the kids, hope they enjoy
The Dazzling Rubies will be doing an all month craft project this month, where we’ll make vegetable crafts and design a whole garden. So far we’ve made corn, tomatoes and potatoes. As the theme is on food, we’ll be learning about all kinds of fruit and vegetables in the process. We hope this project will encourage the kids to try and identify food on the dinner table in English
